Special Projects
I have worked on a variety of personal projects to try and make the world a better place. I love to volunteer and am currently a Board member at the Mali Rising Foundation where we build schools in Africa and support educational programs for Middle Schoolers. In the past I have worked with Project PAVE coaching students to give speeches at charity events, volunteered at Food For Thought and at Sacred Heart House.
Documentary Production
This project was a self-funded documentary trailer. It is a passion project I started after experiencing the aftermath of so many school shooting and seeing how devastating it is for whole communities. I wanted kids to understand the real world consequences of their actions as it is truly a matter of life and death. Mitchell is the only living school shooter who is not in prison so he has a unique insight. And he regrets what he did every single day. I hope that someday I can share this story with a greater audience.
Volunteer Work
Since joining the Board of the Mali Rising Foundation, I have trained the staff on storytelling, taken over their monthly donation program and launched an instagram #heroes campaign to increase the Foundation’s online reach.
