Larry King Live CNN

Larry King was a legend. When it came to newsmaking interviews, Larry King's show became the pre-eminent place to go. I was proud to be brought on board to make his 25th year the best yet. In addition to booking day-to-day stories, we were able to produce a variety of very special coverage before Larry left CNN.

"Balloon Boy" Confesses on Live Television

In October of 2009 I was enjoying a day off when I heard about a homemade balloon that was on the loose with a 6-year-old boy trapped inside. The news producer in me knew that I had to be there for this Colorado story. I headed up to Fort Collins and joined the gaggle of media outside of the Heene home. That evening the boy was found safe. I was able to convince the family to do an exclusive interview that night with CNN. LeBron James on His NBA Future

For Larry King’s 25th anniversary he wanted to talk to the biggest people in sports, politics and entertainment.  For weeks I worked behind the scenes to secure an exclusive hour-long interview with the biggest name in sports – LeBron James – at a pivotal moment in his career. We flew to Akron and produced an hour-long interview at his home about his life, career and future in the NBA.
